Hello, all, once again. I had the most boring weekend ever, but other than that, I'm okay. Here I am, stuck inside, listening to Eurobeat remixes of Japanese songs until I pass out. Life sure is wonderful...(I hope you knew that was sarcastic)...

If any of you haven't, check out FLCL (Fooly Cooly), the best anime OVA ever made. If you don't know what an OVA is, it's kind of like a series, only it's more like a one-shot deal type thing, and it's usually much shorter. It's about this boy, named Naota, who lives in a odd city full of strange happenings and goings on. He hangs out with this smoking deliquent girl, Mamimi, and basically becomes involved in this super wierd woman named Haruko, who carries around a bass guitar to hit people in the head with. It's a bit confusing, but it's so incredible. In fact, the directors of Avatar: The Last Airbender, an American animated television series, claim inspiration from FLCL. Avatar director Giancarlo Volpe says the staff "were all ordered to buy FLCL and watch every single episode of it." It was also named the 4th best English-licensed anime of all time. That's right. The American voice actors in this series ACTUALLY don't suck! So please check it out whenever you're bored.

I have to walk home from school every day, and it's starting to piss me off. It's so hot here...

Anyway, if you live in any non-Asian country, please promote BoA around. BoA is a Korean superstar who has enjoyed enormous popularity in both her home country of South Korea and in Japan (she makes music in Korean and Japanese). For more info on this amazing artist, check out [link]
Anyway, I'm asking that all promote her because she is going to make a splash in America with her upcoming first English single, "Eat You Up," which comes out on October 7th digitally, then the physical single will come out on November 11th. Please request her on your local station if you can. I really want her to get famous here!
